The annual Chatsworth Country Fair (Friday 2-Sunday 4 September 2022) attracts tens of thousands of visitors from across the UK to enjoy a spectacular three-day outdoor event at one of the country’s most visited stately homes.
To make the most of this action-packed weekend event stay with us at The Devonshire Arms, which is short from Chatsworth Park, where the weekend event is held.
After a day at the fair, where there will be entertainment in the Grand Ring, including stunt motorcycle riders, action horses, Spitfire aerobatics, marching bands, mounted games, gundog and falconry displays and vintage vehicles, you can relax in our bar for pre-dinner drinks as you choose from our menu and extensive wine list.
During the weekend event there will also be demonstrations by Mary Berry, James Martin and John Torode, who will be running inspirational cooking masterclasses in the Stoves Cookery Theatre and fine food village.
For those who want to try various country pursuits, there will be opportunities to have a go at fishing, shooting and rural crafts. If you have a dog (and dogs are very welcome at The Devonshire Arms) they can also take part with agility courses, dock diving and gundog trials; there is also fun family dog show.
